Graduate programme
Due to our diversity, we don't just have one graduate programme at Siemens. The majority of our graduate programmes and roles arise in the areas of Engineering, IT, Finance and R&D. Occasionally, though, we do recruit into other functional areas such as Purchasing and Sales.
The majority of our undergraduate placement opportunities have a technical focus such as Engineering and IT. Placements in non-technical areas such as Finance, Sales & Marketing and HR arise occasionally.
Training programme
No matter which part of Siemens you join, one of our priorities is training and development. It's all about the continual development of the individual, making sure you have the right skills to continue innovating and pushing the boundaries in your role.
Training depends on the business you join and the role you're in. Throughout our businesses, we tailor training to the individual.
Typically you'll receive a mixture of on-the-job training and training structured with internal and external courses to give you the relevant industry recognised qualifications where appropriate. We've outlined the wide range of development tools we use here. For specific details, it's worth asking this question as part of the selection process.
