Manufacturing/Food Science/Human Resources Scheme
The scheme consists of an intensive 15 month programme with the overall aim of preparing candidates for a
future senior leadership position within one of our Manufacturing divisions.
Induction: This is a comprehensive introduction to the business, that will cover all aspects and prepare you
for the main programme.
The programme: The programme has been specifically designed to equip you with the required knowledge, skills
and behaviours in order for you to take up your first leadership role. It will incorporate either
Manufacturing / Food Science / HR processes - covering a large number of our diverse functions. You will be
exposed to a variety of development opportunities including practical projects, problem solving, off the job
training and shadowing. You will also be given the opportunity to enhance and practice your people management
skills. For the duration of the programme you will be allocated the support of a dedicated mentor and will
receive regular feedback on your progress.
It's an intense, but highly rewarding 15 months that will prepare you for a senior role in an exciting and
constantly evolving part of our business.
Retail Scheme
The retail scheme covers an intensive 15 months that will see graduates cover all aspects of retail working
towards a senior manager appointment and the overall aim of preparing candidates for a future Store Management
position of their own.
Induction: Covers all legal aspects such of Food Hygiene, health and safety, COSHH and retail skills.
The
first three months. Includes a large number of key competencies that will prepare you for leadership and will
be signed off by your Store Manager.
The remaining 12 months: Is all about ensuring that you are 'duty competent'. This covers essential areas such
as opening and closing a store, key operational areas and gaining a through understanding of operational
processes. There are 21 competencies to achieve, a close personal mentoring with the Store Manager and a broad
preparation of business knowledge through learning with all departments.
At every stage you will get progress feedback, a structured process that will enable you to see your progress
as it happens and benefit from the advice and help of our training team and operational staff. At the end of
the course, you will be accredited as a fully fledged manager and a key part of the retailing team. Assigned
your own area and learning as you go, you have a bright future ahead as one of our future Store Managers - and
beyond! |
